How to Update Your Fire TV (Amazon) System and App

Update Fire Stick TV

1. Turn on your Fire Stick or Fire TV Stick
2. Go to the Home screen
3. Go to Settings
4. Select My Fire TV
5. Choose About
6. Select Check for Updates
   1. If an update is available, it will download and install automatically. The device will restart after the update

How to Update the Victory+ App

1. Turn on your Fire Stick or Fire TV Stick – Make sure it’s plugged in and connected to your TV
2. Press the Home button on the remote (it looks like a house)
3. Go to Settings, look to the far right of the screen and pick Settings (the little gear icon with your profile avatar)
4. Select Applications
5. Select Manage Installed Applications
6. Find the Victory+ App
7. Check for Updates

We also recommend checking if apps on your Fire TV will auto-update

1. If you’re still viewing the Managed Installed Applications menu, click the back button on your remote control
2. On the main Applications screen, click on the Appstore menu
3. Check if Automatic Updates is set to On. If not, use the remote control to turn it on
