Setting Up Fire TV (Amazon) on a TV

Fire TV Stick

Fire TV Cube
- Place your Fire TV Cube about 1 to 2 feet away from any speakers.
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your TV and the other end to your Fire TV Cube.
- Plug in the power cord to a wall outlet, then into your Fire TV Cube.
- Insert batteries into your Fire TV remote.
- Turn on your TV and switch to the correct HDMI input.
- If your remote does not work right away, press and hold the Home button for about 10 seconds until the screen shows "Press Play Pause to start".
- Follow the on screen steps to connect to Wi Fi and update the software.
- Tip: If you have trouble with your Wi-Fi password, you may need to contact your internet provider for help.
- Sign in with your Amazon account by visiting https://www.amazon.ca/code on your phone or computer, then enter the code shown on your TV.
- Answer the on screen questions to set up control for other devices, such as soundbars.
