Troubleshooting on LG TV


If you are running into issues accessing the Victory+ app or its content on your LG Smart TV, try the steps below.

Note: Exact steps and menu labels can vary depending on your LG TV model and webOS version. If something looks different on your screen, use the closest matching option, or refer to your owner’s manual or LG device support.

Power Cycle LG TV

Power cycling is safe and will not remove your installed apps. It can also clear cached data and help with connectivity issues.

  1. Turn your TV on.
  2. Locate the physical power button on the TV and press and hold it for about 10 seconds.
  3. Unplug the TV power cable from the wall.
  4. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  5. Plug the TV back into the wall outlet.
  6. Press the power button again to turn the TV back on.
  7. Open the Victory+ app and try again.

Remove and Reinstall the Victory+ App

This can clear cached data. You will need to pair your Victory+ account to your TV again after reinstalling.

To Remove the App:

There are two common ways to remove an app on LG TVs.


Method 1: Remove from the APPS menu

  1. Press the Home button on your remote.
  2. Select APPS
  3. Select More options (often shown as "⋯" in the top right).
  4. Select Manage Apps or Manage App
  5. Find Victory+, then select the Trash icon to remove it.

Method 2: Remove from the Edit App List

  1. Press the Home button on your remote.
  2. Go to Edit App List (often found at the far right of the app row).
  3. Highlight the Victory+ app.
  4. Select the Trash icon that appears above the app.
  5. Confirm the deletion using the on screen prompt.

To Reinstall the App:

  1. Go back to APPS
  2. Search for Victory+
  3. Select the app, then choose Install or Add

Factory Reset LG TV

Only do a factory reset if the options above do not resolve the issue.

A factory reset will return your TV to its original settings. You will need to re download apps, sign back into accounts, and re configure settings.

  1. Turn your TV on.
  2. Press and hold the Settings button on your remote (the gear icon).
  3. Select General
  4. Select System
  5. Select Reset to Initial Settings
  6. When prompted, select OK to confirm.
