Troubleshooting on LG TV
If you're running into an issue accessing the Victory+ app and its content on your LG Smart TV, please try any of the troubleshooting steps below.
Please note: exact steps may vary depending on your LG TV Model. Please refer to the owner's manual for exact steps.
Power Cycle LG TV
Power cycling an LG TV is safe to do and will not remove any saved apps on your LG TV. It also clears the TV's cache, which may help with any connectivity issues your TV is experiencing.
- Locate the power button on your LG TV and press and hold the button for about 10 seconds.
- Unplug the power cable of the TV from the wall and plug it back in after at least 60 seconds.
- Plug your TV back into the wall outlet.
- Press the power button again to turn on your LG TV.
Remove and Reinstall the Victory+ App
This will remove any cached data from the app. You will need to pair your Victory+ account to your TV again.
To Remove the App:
There are two common methods to remove an app:
Method 1: Via the APPS Menu
- Turn on your LG TV and press the Home button on the remote.
- Select APPS.
- Navigate to the three horizontal dots in the top right-hand corner.
- Choose Manage App.
- Find Victory+ and choose the trash icon to the right.
Method 2: Via the Edit App List
- Turn on your LG TV and press the Home button on the remote.
- Navigate to the Edit App List (usually at the far right of the app row).
- Hover over the Victory+ app.
- Navigate to the trashcan icon that appears above it.
- Click your center button on the remote to confirm the deletion.
To Reinstall the App:
- Go back to the APPS menu.
- Search for the Victory+ app.
- Select the app and choose Install or Add.
Factory Reset LG TV
Please note: Doing a factory reset will completely reset your LG TV. This means any downloaded apps, favorited apps, accounts, and settings will need to be reconfigured. We only recommend performing a factory reset if all other options do not allow you to access the Victory+ app and its content.
- Turn on your LG TV.
- On the remote, hold down the Settings button (it looks like a gear/cog icon).
- Scroll down to General and select it.
- Find and select System.
- Find and select Reset to Initial Settings.
- You’ll see a message asking if you’re sure you want to reset. Select OK to confirm.
