Troubleshooting on Vizio TV
Restart Vizio TV
Rebooting a Vizio TV is safe to do, and will not remove any saved apps on your Vizio TV. It also clears the TVs cache which may help with any connectivity issues your TV is experiencing.
Option 1:
- Turn on your Vizio TV, and on the remote, press the Settings button (it looks like a gear/cog icon)
- Find and select All Settings
- On the System menu, scroll down and select Admin & Privacy
- Select Restart TV
- Wait for the TV to finish rebooting
Option 2:
- First, turn off your Vizio TV and unplug it from the power outlet
- Wait for about 10 seconds to let the TV reset
- Now, plug the TV back into the power outlet
- Turn the TV back on using the remote
Factory Reset Vizio TV
Doing a factory reset will completely reset your Vizio TV, meaning any downloaded apps or favorited apps will need to be searched and downloaded again to your Vizio TV. We only recommend performing a factory reset if all options aren't allowing you to access the Victory+ app and its content.
- Turn on your Vizio TV
- On the remote, press the Settings button (it looks like a gear/cog icon)
- Scroll down to All Settings and select it
- Find and select Admin & Privacy
- Choose Reset to Factory Settings
- You’ll see a message asking if you’re sure you want to reset. Select Yes to confirm
