Troubleshooting on Roku
If you're running into an issue accessing the Victory+ app and it's content on your Roku device, please try any of the troubleshooting steps below.
If you're seeing a location permission screen and it won't accept your location, see Location Access Help to learn more.
Restart Roku Device
Resetting a Roku is safe to do, and will not remove any saved apps on your Roku device.
- Go to your Roku Settings – Press the Home button, scroll down to Settings, and select it
- Select System – In the Settings menu, choose System
- Select System Restart – Click on System Restart, and then choose Restart
- After the Roku has been reset, navigate to the Victory+ app and click on it
Remove and Reinstall the Victory+ App
This will remove any cached data from the app. You will need to pair your Victory+ account to your TV again.
- Go to Home Screen – Press the Home button on your remote
- Highlight the App – Scroll to the app you want to remove but don’t click on it
- Press the Star (*) Button – This will open a menu with options
- Select Remove Channel – Choose Remove Channel to delete the app
- Restart the Roku – It’s a good idea to restart your Roku after removing the app (follow the steps above for restarting)
- Reinstall the App – Go to the Channel Store, find the app, and install it again
Factory Reset on Roku
Doing a factory reset will completely reset your Roku device, meaning any downloaded apps or favourited apps will need to be searched and downloaded again to your Roku. We only recommend performing a factory reset if all options aren't allowing you to access the Victory+ app and its content.
Option 1: Factory reset a Roku
Here are simple steps to perform a factory reset on a Fire TV:
- Go to the Home screen – Press the Home button on your Roku remote
- Open Settings – Scroll down and select Settings from the menu
- Select System – In the Settings menu, scroll down and choose System
- Select Advanced System Settings – In the System menu, look for Advanced System Settings and click on it
- Choose Factory Reset – Click on Factory Reset
- Select Factory reset everything – Roku may ask you to enter a code that appears on the screen to confirm the reset - enter the code and press OK. Follow the on-screen instructions
- Wait for the reset – Your Roku will now reset to its factory settings. After the reset, you’ll need to set up your Roku again like when it was new (connecting to Wi-Fi, signing into your accounts, etc.)
Option 2: Physical reset button
Some Roku devices (like Roku TVs and certain Roku boxes) have a physical reset button. Here's how to use it:
- Find the reset button – It’s either a small pinhole or a tactile button on the back or bottom of the device
- Hold the button – Press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds. For pinhole buttons, you’ll need a paperclip or something small to press it
- Release the button – Once the Roku logo appears on your screen, you can release the button. The device will begin the reset process
- Wait for the reset – Your Roku will now reset to its factory settings. After the reset, you’ll need to set up your Roku again like when it was new (connecting to Wi-Fi, signing into your accounts, etc.)
