How to Update your Roku System and app (channel)

The steps below apply to most Roku devices and Roku TVs.

Note: Roku menus and labels can vary depending on your Roku model and Roku OS version. If something looks different on your screen, use the closest matching option, or refer to Roku Support.

How to update the Roku system

  1. Turn on your Roku and confirm it is connected to the internet.
  2. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select System
  5. Select System update
  6. Select Check now
  7. If an update is available, allow it to download and install. Your Roku may restart during the update.

How to update the Victory+ app on Roku

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  2. Highlight the Victory+ app, but do not open it.
  3. Press the Star (*) button on your remote to open the options menu.
  4. Select Check for updates
  5. If an update is available, Roku will download and install it automatically. If no update is available, you should see an on screen message confirming you are up to date.
