Troubleshooting on Samsung TV

If you're running into an issue accessing the Victory+ app and it's content on your Samsung Smart TV, please try any of the troubleshooting steps below.

Reboot Samsung TV

Rebooting a Samsung TV is safe to do, and will not remove any saved apps on your Samsung TV. It also clears the TVs cache which may help with any connectivity issues your TV is experiencing.

Option 1:

  1. Turn on your Samsung TV
  2. Point the remote at the TV and press and hold the power button on the remote until the TV turns off and then on again (the Samsung logo will appear). This should take approximately 5 seconds

Option 2:

  1. Turn off your Samsung TV and unplug it from the power outlet
  2. Wait for about 30 seconds
  3. Plug the TV back into the power outlet
  4. Turn the TV back on using the remote

Remove and Reinstall the Victory+ App

This will remove any cached data from the app. You will need to pair your Victory+ account to your TV again.

Remove the App:

  1. Turn on your Samsung TV and press the Home button on the remote
  2. Find the app you want to remove then press the down button
  3. Move the cursor and select Edit List
  4. Move the cursor to Remove, then press the enter button

Reinstall the App:

  1. Go back to the APPS menu
  2. Search for the Victory+ app
  3. Select the app and choose Install or Add

Factory Reset Samsung TV

Doing a factory reset will completely reset your Samsung TV, meaning any downloaded apps or favorited apps will need to be searched and downloaded again to your Samsung TV. We only recommend performing a factory reset if all other options aren't allowing you to access the Victory+ app and its content.

  1. Turn on your Samsung TV
  2. On the remote, press the Menu button (it looks like three lines)
  3. Navigate to and select Settings, and then select All Settings
  4. Select General & Privacy
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the list, and then select Reset
  6. You will need to enter your PIN. Then, select Reset

The default PIN is 0000. You can set the PIN by navigating to Settings, and then selecting All Settings. Select General & Privacy, and then select System Manager. Finally, select Change PIN.

  1. Then select OK. Your TV will reset automatically after a few moments
  2. After performing a factory reset, follow the initial set up prompt
