How to Update Android TV

Updating the Victory+ app on Android TV

1. Turn on your Android TV – Make sure it’s connected to your TV and powered on
2. Go to the Home screen – Press the Home button on your remote (it looks like a house)
3. Open the Google Play Store – Find the Google Play Store (it’s a colorful triangle) and click on it
4. Go to My Apps – Once inside the Play Store, scroll down and choose My Apps
5. Find the app you want to update – You’ll see a list of apps. If any app has an update, you’ll see an Update button next to it
6. Click Update – Just click the Update button, and the app will download and install the newest version

Updating an Android TV System

1. Turn on your Android TV – Make sure it’s connected to your TV and powered on
2. Go to the Home screen – Press the Home button on your remote (the one that looks like a house)
3. Go to Settings – Look for the Settings icon (it looks like a gear) at the top of the screen and click on it
4. Scroll to Device Preferences – In the Settings menu, scroll down and select Device Preferences
5. Select About – Under Device Preferences, find and click on About
6. Choose System Update – In the About section, select System Update
7. Check for Updates – Your Android TV will check if there’s a new update. If there is, it will download and install it
8. Restart if Needed – After the update is done, your Android TV may restart
