Why am I being asked to verify my location?
Due to location restrictions that are regulated directly by the leagues for each team, users who do not live within certain regions will not be able to watch certain games. Victory+ must abide by the location rules set by the leagues.
Having Trouble Verifying Your Location?
If you’re being asked to verify your location before watching a live stream, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Download the Victory+ Mobile App
- Location verification requires a mobile device.
- Download the Victory+ app on your phone (iOS or Android).
Step 2: Sign In
- Log in using the same account you’re using on your TV or desktop.
Step 3: Allow Location Access
- Open a live game in the app and allow location permissions when prompted.
- If you previously denied access:
- Go to your device Settings
- Find Victory+ under App Permissions
- Enable Location access
Step 4: Return to Your TV or Desktop
- Once location is verified on mobile, go back to your original device and reload the app.
Still Not Working?
If you're still unable to access content after completing the steps above, please contact our support team and include:
- Your name and Victory+ account email
- A photo of a document showing your name and address (for location verification), such as:
- Recent utility bill
- Government-issued ID (must be valid and not expired)
- Rental or lease agreement
Please ensure any sensitive information is hidden or redacted. Documents are used only for verification.
Location Restrictions by Team / League
Below is information on the approved regions for location restricted content on Victory+.
Dallas Stars
Fans who are located within Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas will be able to watch the Dallas Stars home and away games that are available on Victory+.
Anaheim Ducks
Fans who are located within the following counties and state will be able to watch the Anaheim Ducks home and away games that are available on Victory+:
- Orange County
- LA County
- Riverside County
- San Bernardino County
- San Diego County
- Santa Barbara County
- Ventura County
- Hawaii

Texas Rangers
Fans who are located within Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and in some parts of New Mexico counties listed below will be able to watch the Texas Rangers home and away games that are available on Victory+.
New Mexico counties:
- Chaves
- Curry
- De Baca
- Dona Ana
- Eddy
- Lea
- Quay
- Roosevelt
- Union
NWSL
National Women's Soccer League games on Victory+ are only available to users located in the United States.
- National games broadcast on Victory+ are open to all residents of the United States
- Regional games broadcast on Victory+ are available to fans located within that regional teams home territory. These regions vary by team
LOVB
League One Volleyball games are available to Victory+ users in Canada, and the United States only
Minnesota Lynx (WNBA)
The Minnesota Lynx are available in select regions, depending on your Zip Code. Areas covered in this radius are:
- Minnesota
- Wisconsin
- North Dakota
- South Dakota
If you believe you should have access to the Minnesota Lynx in your area, please contact our Support team, and provide them with your home Zip Code, and they'll be happy to verify it for you!
Common questions and answers:
- I live in a teams market territory but am travelling outside of those regions for awhile, will I still be able to watch?
Answer: Yes! If you're being prompted to verify your location but can't get access, but can provide that you live within a teams approved territories, simply contact Victory+ support. In order to assist you quicker, please provide proof of your home residence, i.e. valid drivers license, or home state ID. and retract any sensitive information (if applicable). You will be given a 30 day travelling pass added to your account.
- I live in a teams market territory but am still being asked to provide my location and it still won't let me in to watch, what do I do?
Answer: Contact Victory+ Support and provide the device information (mobile model, streaming device i.e. Android mobile, Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, Google TV, iOS device, Roku), that has Victory+ app installed on it that won't let you watch your team's games. There are some cases where it'll work on a mobile device within your territory but not on the TV. We can help!
- I live outside of the market range for a team I want to watch. How can I still watch their games on Victory+?
Answer: Unfortunately, if you live outside of a teams territories that are predetermined by the NHL, or MLB, you will not be able to watch their games on the Victory+ app. However, there are other services that may be worth looking into that may provide local coverage in your area. Check out ESPN+ and/or NHL Center Ice within the United States, through Sportsnet+ in Canada, or through NHL.TV in Europe.
- Is all content on Victory+ location restricted?
Answer: No. Most content on Victory+ is unrestricted by location. Certain teams and leagues such as the MLB, NHL, NWSL, and LOVB, are subject to geo-restrictions. MLB and NHL National Broadcast games are exclusive to other services, and will not be broadcast on Victory+.
- Can I watch replays on Victory+?
Answer: Yes!
- Rebroadcasts of NHL games are available up to 72 hours following original airing and are available to anyone within those regions using Victory+.
- Rebroadcasts of MLB games are available for up to 48 hours, to anyone within those regions using Victory+.
- Other replays on Victory+ do not have set time limits for replay availability.
