Content Availability on Victory+
Why Certain Content May Be Unavailable on Victory+
At times, live events, replays, or other content may become temporarily or permanently unavailable on Victory+. While we strive to provide consistent access to all available programming, there are a few reasons why content may not appear as expected.
Common Reasons Content May Be Unavailable
Content Filtering
Victory+ recently added a Content Visibility setting that filters what you see in the app based on your location. This feature is designed to showcase the most relevant content, and ensure it's easier to find the games accessible to you. If your location is reported incorrectly, you may not see games that should be available.
How to Disable Content Filtering
Turn Content Visibility off in your app or device settings:
- Mobile (iOS & Android)
- Tap Profile (bottom left).
- Select Content Controls.
- Toggle Content Visibility off.
- Streaming Devices (Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, etc.)
- Open Settings (left-hand menu).
- Select Account & Subscription.
- Toggle Content Visibility off.
- Web Streaming (victoryplus.com)
- Open Settings.
- Select Account & Subscription.
- Toggle Content Visibility off.
Important notes
- With Content Visibility off, you’ll see the full Victory+ catalog.
- Some games may still be unavailable due to official blackout and geo-restriction rules.
Still having trouble?
If you’ve turned Content Visibility off but still can’t see the content you expect, please contact us at support@victoryplus.com with:
- Your Victory+ registered email address
- Your location (city, state/province)
- Your device and app version
- The game or team you were trying to watch
Other Common Reasons Content May Be Unavailable
- League set geo-restrictions (blackout areas)
- Access to geo-restricted content such as NHL, or MLB games
- Subscription Status
- Access to paid content
- The content was only authorized for live broadcast and not for replay
- A live broadcast has recently ended, and the broadcast is in the process of converting into a Video on Demand (VOD)
- Licensing agreements may have changed or expired after initial availability
- A content partner or league may have requested a change to availability
Will the Content Return?
In some cases, content may return to the platform if availability issues are resolved. However, in other cases, particularly when removal is due to licensing or partner direction, it may not return.
Why Wasn’t I Notified in Advance?
Many of these changes are made by third-party partners or rights holders and can happen without advance notice. We update the platform as quickly as possible and aim to be transparent when we receive confirmed information.
