How to Update Android Mobile Devices
This article covers two different updates on Android phones and tablets:
- Updating your Android device system software
- Updating the Victory+ app
Note: Exact steps and menu labels can vary depending on your device model, Android version, and manufacturer (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.). If something looks different on your screen, use the closest matching option, or refer to your device manual or the manufacturer’s support site.
Update your Android device system software
- Connect your device to Wi-Fi.
- Open Settings
- Select About phone or About device
- Select Check for updates or Software update
- If an update is available, select Update, then follow the on screen prompts.
- When prompted, select Install now, Install, or Reboot and install, depending on what your device shows.
Update the Victory+ app on Android mobile devices
- Unlock your phone or tablet.
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Select your profile icon, then select Manage apps & device
- On some devices, this may appear as a menu icon instead
- Find Victory+ under updates.
- Select Update and wait for it to finish.
